Details: Monday to Friday Christ Church Holy Corner Venue 9am - 1pm Daily Communication: Two weeks before the start date, your workshop leader, Claire, will email all participants to say hello. All information will be repeated, and participants will have the opportunity to ask any questions. Smile! Skills Information: This is a 'Skills Week' where we learn to face challenges, try out and master new skills, and test out our creative thinking.... all wrapped up in a whole lot of fun! The Skills we try out cover movement/ dance/ acting / singing / voice production / art / design / imagination / improvisation / storytelling. We'll also guide young students how performers tackle nerves. It's a fast-paced and energy-fuelled workshop which runs from 9am -1pm daily. To build confidence as a team and create a safe learning space, we design this as a one-week workshop experience. We learn how to communicate and create a company, with all ages working together to win each challenge. As the week progresses, we total the challenges 'won' on our scoreboard and students are all rewarded at the end of the week. Smile student places are limited for this course. It's recommended to book early as it usually sells out. Age recommendations: For anyone new to 3Theatre, as a guide, we recommend this for 6-12 years. Younger students who already attend our weekly JUNIORS classes will cope very well with the challenges and mixed group dynamic. For anyone over 13 years ( e.g older siblings/students completing volunteering awards) - you are welcome to apply as a young volunteer on this workshop.
